Belleek Pottery is
Ireland’s oldest working fine china pottery, established in 1857 in County Fermanagh. Renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship, every piece of traditional Belleek china passes through the hands of 16 different craftspeople during production. The pottery is most famous for its Shamrock Collection, featuring a distinctive basketweave design first created in the 1880s and hand-painted green shamrocks. In addition to its classic Parian china, the Belleek Group now includes brands such as Belleek Living, which offers contemporary stoneware and giftware, as well as Galway Crystal and Aynsley China. Collectors often identify authentic pieces using distinctive backstamps that have evolved over the pottery’s 167-year history.
